JOB SUMMARY
As an A&R Director for The Muzic Group and its branded genre-specific record labels, you will be pivotal in identifying and nurturing emerging artists with artistic and commercial potential. Your expertise in today’s dynamic music landscape will help shape the future of our roster.

You will collaborate closely with The Muzic Group’s senior team to facilitate new artist signings and ensure their successful onboarding into our ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN A&R SCOUT

  • Research and discover emerging talent with high artistic and commercial potential.

  • Facilitate and manage the signing process for new artists.

  • Provide in-depth analysis of prospective artists’ careers, audience engagement, and market potential.

  • Collaborate in the development of new artists and their music projects.

  • Attend local shows and events to scout for talent, where feasible.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the music industry (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong understanding of music industry trends, pop culture, and emerging artist dynamics.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and excel in high-pressure situations.

  • High sensitivity to confidential information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Expertise in at least two of the following genres: Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Christian/Gospel, Country, Latin, or House.

  • Capability to work remotely and effectively through telecommunication channels.

 

COMPENSATION
This is a commission-based role, with earnings ranging from:

  • $31,500 (low average) to $157,500+ (high average).
